This was supposed to be a YouTube video but it is super dark today... and will be for the next several days. In an effort to not keep delaying it, I just decided to at least put a blog post up and then link the video later. There are a couple small things we are still waiting to arrive, but they have been using these items for a bit now.
Much to my surprise, the kids are super excited about the new curriculum and the new workload changes. They still get school done in about 2-3 hours depending on the day.
Lorelai 10/11th Grade
- Faith : Using the Hallow App [kids and I each have a membership and created a family group so that we can share what we are praying]. Going to be adding in a few weeks : Faith & Life Series Book 6 that Brie and her will do together.
- English : Word Up Latin & Greek Vocabulary, The Good & The Beautiful Honors Book Studies [Pride & Prejudice and The Screwtape Letters], Copywork from The Harp & Laurel Wreath, our own literature picks [another blog post], and assigned essays, research papers by me.
- History : We finished history for the year but used Tan Books' Story of Civilization Volume III. We use the kindle book along with the audible.
- Math : Math U See Algebra and Khan Academy Geometry
- Science : Apologia's Exploring Creation with General Science. We are using the video lessons [via thumb drive], the students workbooks [backordered], text book, test booklets and lab kit from HomeScience Tools.
- Health : Shyness & Social Anxiety Teen Workbook, Intuitive Eating Workbook for Teens
- Electives : Dave Ramsey's Foundations in Entrepreneurship, Acrylic Painting [YouTube tutorials + Supplies], Korean II [Talk 2 Me in Korean & HowToStudyKorean.com], Herbal Study by Salt and Light Homeschool.
Breezy 8th/9th Grade
- Faith : Using the Hallow App, Going to be adding in a few weeks : Faith & Life Series Book 6

- Math : Seton Math and then moving to The Good & The Beautiful Math 4 [the new one coming out this autumn]
- Science : Apologia's Exploring Creation with Astronomy w/student book [on backorder] and lab kit from HomeScience Tools.

Zephyr PK3
We do not usually do any type of schooling at this age. We typically start kindergarten at age 6, however, Zephyr has a speech delay so we are working with him on some things.

Are you guys not doing Teaching Textbooks math anymore?
