What is in Our Minimalist Wardrobe | Large Family of 7+

We have been living a mostly minimalist lifestyle for about a decade or so now. We have gone super minimal on clothes and we have had far too many clothing items. It is all about balance. I find that true of most anything in life and it usually takes some trial and error to find that balance for you and your family.

One thing you should know that we put into practice in our home is once we found what works, we don't go looking for better. And once our perfect piece is found, be buy it in basic neutral colors. When we do this, it accidentally looks like we are coordinated when in reality we just bought similar colors. We never match on purpose.

My perfect jeans are from Free People, Lorelai's come from Hollister, Brie's are from Old Navy, Daren's are Carhartt, Everett is autistic and hates jeans and the two little ones get pants from H&M or Zara. If it fits for our bodies, the search is over and we just buy that only. We found perfect inexpensive leggings for us ladies that love to live in oversized tops and I've been buying the exact same t-shirts for 4 years straight.

Since I am a mother of five with one on the way, I'm just going to jump in here and list what each family member has in their minimalist wardrobe inventory and where we shop. Also, all of the kids have enough undergarments to last 10 days.

If something isn't linked, we have no clue where we got it or it is second hand. Most of these are not affiliate links, amazon links are affiliate links. They don't cost you anything to use and you don't have to use them, but they're linked for your convenience.
