Rad Catholic Baby Names

Just keeping an ongoing list of names I like and wanted to share. While the Catholic practice of naming a child after a saint isn't required, it's still a fun tradition. And how cool is it to have a namesake that loved God SO much that they devoted their lives [many martyred] for their strong faith in Him?!

This list is a little different than other Catholic Saint Baby Name lists. This one has some lesser known saints or some variations of saint names that are not as common.

Again, this particular name list is ongoing as I find more cool Saint names.

  2. We aren't Catholic, but we have a Poppy. She is actually Penelope but decided last year that she was Poppy. She still responds to Penelope and a lot of the time I forget and call her Penelope (if I am not calling her Sweetpea or Baby or some other nickname)...but she has consistently told people she is Poppy and has put her name down on everything as Poppy since she decided she was Poppy!! :D

  4. Great list! I've always liked Polly for St. Apollonia and Aggie for St. Agatha or Agnes.
